The Sumatran jungle is home to a little butterfly called the common pierrot (Castalius rosimon). It shares a strong kinship with the Cupid butterfly. Its eyes were completely black, and its wings were covered with black dots. It was elegantly perched on a weed stalk, as if to flaunt how beautiful it was, like a fairy in a bedtime story. The beautiful one merits admiration from everyone who sees it, including me. For the purpose of participating in the daily #monomad challenge, these pics were purposefully modified to black and white.
All of the images here are my own work, taken with Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
