It was so small that I didn't even notice that it was so close to where I was standing. I only noticed it when I lifted my head and saw it clutching a small twig, but it was slightly larger than its legs. It's the Ommatius clan's robber fly, I swear! This is not a typical fly that becomes prey, but it is the predator. Even though it is so small, you can see how muscular it is. Isn't that a scary robber? Perhaps it was spying on prey from a distance at the time; just as an eagle monitors its prey from the air, so does the robber fly.
