I captured a long-jawed spider while returning from the mangroves. Yup, a mother protecting her eggs. She wrapped the eggs in a soft silk web. What an aggressive mother! She desperately protected her eggs as a 'giant eye' slowly approached... and got closer. It wanted to block my lens. I could see the anger on her face. She had long jaws like mammoth tusks. If I were a mosquito, those jaws would probably tear me apart. I quickly left her with her eggs after taking a few clicks. I hope her anger soon disappears after that.
This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.
