Why invest $20,000 in the foundation of your dream house and come back to it after 3 years of not getting any value to continue, when you could have used that money to complete a two-bed unit (outhouse) in one corner of your land which you could move into and avoid paying rent and then build your dream house on the rest of the plot when you’re very ready?
