No it shouldn't be allowed to be bought and sold for any reason whatsoever. If you legalise something like that then people will most definitely abuse it. People will get abducted and their kidneys will be stolen.
It's not like things like this don't already happen, I've heard a couple of stories about people's organs being stolen, I even saw a documentary on this on CNN but things like this are done in the shadows and sold on the black market.
Doing this would create a market for kidney sale and if that happens then the rate of kidney theft in the world will skyrocket. It should remain as it is and people shouldn't be allowed to sell their kidneys for any reason. If this happens, what's next?? Selling livers??
It'll create a vicious cycle that won't be easily stopped. Today people who require organ transplants have to wait in line for their turn to receive an organ that's been donated and as such both rich and poor alike are accorded the same chances of survival. If kidneys are bought and sold freely they won't be cheap, so how's the average man supposed to afford paying for that??
I don't think it should be allowed.
