Well if I'm being honest, the first ever crypto currency I invested in was SBD. It was around November last year, not too long after I'd joined steemit and a friend of mine who'd been studying the market told me that he was sure steem was going to rise and that I should buy as much as possible.

I quickly gathered around 50,000 naira and gave him to help me purchase as much SBD as possible and sure enough when the price rose I was swimming in cash because I bought it when it was around 500naira for 1 SBD and the price went up to 5000 naira for one.

My joy was short-lived though because I invested a significant portion of my profits in other coins like ripple and Ethereum and we all know how things went with those two coins.
