Please don't mind if I treat education and schooling as two different things.

I don't believe that schooling itself is a determinant for success in life, there are a lot of factors that determine whether or not a person will be successful. Education on the other hand, is most definitely a determinant for success. A good number of billionaires and successful people in the world didn't have any serious formal education and the ones that did, either didn't attend college or didn't finish, at least not until they were successful (Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs...yes I used the most generic examples possible).

Education isn't bound by the four walls of a classroom, we learn and are educated by people everyday, with or without a chalk board or a marker. To me, getting yourself educated does not mean that you have to have a degree, no, it means that you've acquired the knowledge that is required to help you on your journey to success. You will agree with me that there are a good number of people who go to college and graduate but still lack knowledge.

To me it is only education that is necessary, schooling on the other hand is not.
