Taking into consideration the implications of the changes that are going to be made with the upcoming hardfork, I think there will be a significant rise in the price of steem.

The fact that with the next hardfork one of the changes will make it possible for people to access and use dapps like musing without having a steemit account is enough to draw more people to steem dapps and therefore increase the demand for steem itself.

I think the change might not be so sudden, but the effects of the hardfork will definitely drive the price up.
