I think it's possible to an extent and it's something that humanity is working towards achieving, but with hinderances like racism and gender inequality, it's still proving difficult. I don't think we can have a fully egalitarian society but we may be able to get pretty close.

Look at it this way, we live in a time and age where people are more accepting of each other, granted moral values aren't the best right now, people are truly more open minded towards other people and I believe that this is the first step towards achieving a more egalitarian society. A couple of decades ago, black people couldn't do more than just menial jobs but now some of the too people in different companies in different countries are black men. We even have black billionaires. The same thing goes for women who couldn't do much before but are gradually getting closer to gender equality.

For equal treatment and equal opportunity to become a normal thing in society then concepts like racism and gender inequality should be struck from the minds of the next generation. It's then than have a chance at creating a world like that because their minds haven't been poisoned by today's societal trends and beliefs.

Finally I think we're on our way there though, humanity is evolving and soon gender, colour or background will have nothing to do with our equality as a species.
