That's easy, the greatest lie anyone ever told me was that once I graduate from school I'll get a job easily. I had to learn the hard way that it was nothing more than hog wash.

My father told me this as I was about to go off to college a couple of years ago and I was so hell bent on graduating well that I didn't even bother to find a side hustle or try and get any work experience while I was in school. I just sat down, read my books and passed my exams well.

Now Here I am, one year since I graduated and I'm still looking for my first job. Nobody wants to hire anyone that doesn't have any experience but nobody wants to actually help you get that experience. The few people that are even willing to employ a person without any experience will tell you that you have to have a master's degree first. Maybe if I go back to school and get my master's then when I come out they'll be asking for a PhD.

The whole thing is just sad if you ask me.
