I think there are numerous qualities that a good leader should have, so many that I'm not sure that I can actually list out all of them but let me give it a try.

1. Honesty/Integrity: Above all else, I believe that a leader should have a high level of integrity, you need to be able to get people to not just follow you but trust you and if you're someone that isn't honest and as such lacks integrity, then you might as well just give up on being a leader

2. Be inspirational: How can you lead a group of people when you can't inspire them to be better than they already are. A leader should be able to spur his followers into dream more, learn more, do more and become more!!! The only way to do this is to set a good example which they can follow.

3. Good communication skills: You should be able to effectively communicate your ideas and wishes and vision to your followers if not it would be difficult to get the results that you seek.

4. Good decision making capabilities: A leader should be able to look at every situation and make the best possible choice for his followers. Knowing that every decision he makes will affect the people under him, he should be able to consult with his stake holders and evaluate every option then make a decision that's best for his followers.

5. Accountability: Every leader should be accountable for everything they do, whether good or bad and they should extend this accountability to their followers as well, reward them for their good deeds and show them the error of their ways when they do something wrong.

6. Be creative and innovative: The world is moving forward at an alarming speed so as a leader you should be able to keep up with the world and as such, you should be creative as well as innovative. Leaders should have a creative way of thinking and an innovative mindset, that's the only way you can carry your followers forward in this fast paced world.

7. Be empathetic: Nobody likes a slave driver, so if you can't put your ears down and listen to what your followers are facing and try to help them fix it, then you aren't a leader, youre a dictator.

8. Delegation/Empowerment: No leader can do everything by themselves, it's just not possible, being able to select the best person for certain jobs is a crucial skill which every leader needs. Managing everything yourself will not only wear you down, but it will reduce the trust your followers have in you because if you can't trust them to do the little things, how can they trust you to do the big ones.

There are a lot more qualities of a good leader, but I hope this ones are enough for now.
