Investment is a matter of taking risks. When the risks are taken after assessing one’s risk‑taking capacity, and when the risk‑reward ratio is properly considered, risk can actually generate profit for the investor. It is equally important to know when to invest and when to book profit or even accept a loss in order to increase or preserve the portfolio.
I have made many mistakes in my life and one of them was failing to take risks at the right time. I also failed when I took risks without evaluating the factors I mentioned above. These are the reasons behind my wealth erosion and losses.
I missed the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin when the timing was perfect. I also hesitate to invest on Hive when its price was very low in 2020. Now I am holding Hive tokens, but their value is much lower compared to my investment. Still, this is not entirely negative. I am steadily increasing my Hive holdings and powering up whenever I get the chance. I have over 18k Hive power now and this is increasing every day.
This time, I powered up with 50 Hive tokens. I don’t wait for a specific day like #hivepud to power up because in my view, it’s not very useful to delay when you already have the opportunity to earn more curation rewards and interest in advance.
Thank you!
