Some say it is a national fruit because Bangladesh was a very poor country and they did not get much to eat. And it is possible not to eat jackfruit for a long time because jackfruit has a lot of calories.
That is why jackfruit was a popular fruit in Bangladesh and hence jackfruit has been considered as a national fruit. I am sincerely sorry for not being able to give the correct answer.
