This is a picture I snapped of Mt. Redoubt, an active volcano here in Southcentral Alaska. We were driving the Alaska Route One between Homer and Soldotna when the clouds parted enough to pop off a couple of photos. I waited patiently for 20 minutes or so to capture the boat racing across Cook Inlet framed all in blue with the glorious volcano rising behind it.
