Trials in life

For you, God tested us; you refined us like silver. You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs. You let people ride over our heads we went through fire and water but you brought us to a place of abundance.- Psalms 66:10-12

Just as fire refines silver in the melting process, trials and problems in life bring us a new deeper wisdom, helping us discern and recognize truth from falsehood and giving us the discipline to do what we know is right.
