When President Trump was sworn in, people wrote him off saying that he won't last a year. But it has been two years and if increasing the Senate seats is any representation then he is gaining ground. People around the world are now saying "I wish we had Trump at the helm". Just look across the pond and see what a mess Brexit has created. The reason, Trump's popularity is increasing compared to his counterparts such as Emmanuel Macron, Theresa May, Angela Merkel, Justin Trudeau, and even Xi Jinping is because he is taking really strategic action for the benefit of American people or in other words, he is holding his promises to Make America Great Again.
An article in ZeroHedge mentions that full 337 million Americans now realize that China is not a friend and a provider of goods cheaply but instead has now become an adversary of the USA. Remaining couple of million people who don't recognize this fact are probably Democrats and fake news media personnel.
So what's the point of this article? Well, just like there is a realization that China is no friend, Americans are realizing that FED is no friend of common man either. They are now realizing that the Fed has always pulled the rug underneath people's feet at the worst time and they were going to do that again before Trump stopped them. So instead of cornering Trump, POTUS has cornered Fed by publicly stating that the Fed should not raise rates. Now if Fed raises interest then a recession is sure to follow and POTUS can and will say "I told you so!" and if Fed doesn't raise the rate, it is a victory of Trump!
So who is cornering whom, you may wonder. Welcome to Alice in Wonderland!
