Today is the first day of August, for many the month of August is a month full of negativity, in Brazil there is a saying: ''August is the month of disgust''. I don't know if this type of belief exists in other countries, but I never gave much thought to it. However, in recent years, August has been a difficult month for me.
In recent years, something complicated to deal with has always happened this month. I confess that yesterday when I realized that August would start today, I was a little apprehensive, but I try not to identify with this feeling, because I believe that as much as I went through difficult things in August, this will not define what happen this time. I don't want that it define, and it won't.
Unlike other years, I feel different now. From the beginning of 2020 until now so much has happened and I feel that many of my beliefs have been deconstructed and much of who I was is definitely I'm not anymore.
Taking into account that I feel like a very different person, I hope that different from the last few years, this month of August for me will be splendid, full of beauty and serenity.
