Has there ever been a time when you would really like to listen to a record, went there and downloaded it for free on a website where you had to be very careful so that your computer wouldn't get infected with viruses when closing the ads?
Not to mention the countless movies and series that you may have already downloaded by torrent! Right? Or not? Is this just Brazil? I have some doubt.
Have you ever stopped to think how ethical this is? Honestly I've thought about it a few times, but I admit that maybe I haven't thought about it enough.
For me, it's fluid to come to the conclusion that everyone should have the right to hear, watch and read anything they care about. Financial conditions should not segregate what someone can and cannot consume. Making this statement is not my intention to have a communist mindset, but it is what naturally crosses my mind when I reflect on the importance of piracy for those who cannot subscribe to streamings.
On the other hand, it's other people's work being consumed for free. How many people are failing to earn money by having materials that are rightfully theirs being pirated? If we put ourselves in these people's shoes, we know we wouldn't want to be in their shoes.
Honestly, I don't know how similar to Brazil is the act of consuming pirated content.
But around here, hardly anyone reflects on how wrong this is… Basically, Brazilians want to consume some media, if they are unable to subscribe to streamings like Netflix and Spotify, they go there and take it. And that's it. But, of course, I'm not generalizing.
But is weird thinking about it now you know? It's as if it happened like this: 'Look, there's someone committing a crime, I'm going there to take advantage of this!'
But no one to ponder it! We just want our download available.
The fact is: Most people in my country do not stop consuming pirated content for reasons of ethics, but because it is less work subscribing to a stream, where everything is ready and it is simply more practical. It's only money question.

Já existiu um momento em que você gostaria muito de ouvir um disco, foi lá e fez o download gratuitamente em um site que você teve que tomar muito cuidado pra que seu computador não se enchesse de vírus ao fechar os anúncios?
Sem contar, os inúmeros filmes e série que você já deve ter feito download por torrent! Certo? Ou não? Será que isso é só Brasil? Eu tenho uma certa dúvida.
Você já parou pra pensar no quanto isso é ético? Sinceramente eu já pensei algumas vezes, mas admito que talvez não tenha pensado o suficiente.
Para mim, é fluido chegar conclusão de que todas as pessoas deveriam ter o direito de ouvir, assistir e ler qualquer coisa que se interessarem. As condições financeiras não deveria segregar o que alguém pode ou não consumir. Fazendo essa afirmação não é minha intenção ter um pensamento comunista, mas é o que naturalmente passa pela minha cabeça quando reflito sobre a importância da pirataria pra quem não poder assinar streamings.
Por outro lado, são os trabalhos de outras pessoas sendo consumidos de graça. O quanto pessoas estão deixando de ganhar dinheiro por ter materiais que são seus por direito sendo pirateados? Se nos colocarmos no lugar dessas pessoas, sabemos que não gostaríamos de estar na pela delas.
Honestamente, eu não sei o quanto é parecido com o Brasil o ato de consumir conteúdo pirata.
Mas por aqui, dificilmente alguém reflete sobre o quanto isso é errado… Basicamente o Brasileiro quer consumir alguma mídia, se ele não tem condições de assinar streamings como Netflix e Spotify, eles vão lá e pegam. E é isso. Mas, claro, não estou generalizando.
Mas estranho pensar sobre isso agora sabe? É como se acontecesse assim: ‘’Olha, tem alguém cometendo um crime, eu vou lá me aproveitar dele!’’
Mas ninguém para refletir sobre isso! A gente só quer nosso download disponível.
Porém o fato é: A maioria das pessoas no meu país não deixam de consumir conteúdo pirata por questão de ética e sim porque é menos trabalhoso que assinar um streaming, onde já existe tudo pronto e é simplesmente mais prático.
