Today’s portrait of Chadwick Boseman is probably the most complex one that I have ever done. I found some beautiful pictures of the Black Panther cast here and they looked “lit”, literally. :P I knew it would be challenging so I thought of painting only certain features but obviously I got carried away and well...
The range of colors in the photograph was just WILD! If I remember correctly I used every color from my gouache set here excluding tints and shades. It took me around 5 hours to make this and I am dead tired but I loved every minute of it :) Plus looking at Chadwick’s portrait for that long was only a bonus 😝 I will click better picture in daylight tomorrow as I am not too happy with the lighting on this. I still have the mental energy of painting the entire casts portraits lol. As always I appreciate listening to your feedbacks so let me know what you guys think. (There are a lot of process shots so please bear with me)
