Stardust 💫 | Watercolor & Gouache 🌌

I miss making small landscapes like these sometimes. One of the most pleasant experiences I have of these are while watching Minnie's sketchbook series on Youtube. (which I must have mentioned about a 100 times by now lol) There is one thing about gouache which I would like to change in the coming days. I've realised how the tube system of paint slows down the process of painting for me sometimes.

And it affects most when you need to work fast and switch between layers. Especially on subjects which need blending and constant work in one sitting. Therefore, it becomes quite tedious to keep juggling from tubes to palette to the paper surface. I think the cake system works beautifully here. I just need to know how to keep gouache in pans and sustain them without drying and cracking. Probably gum arabic or honey..?

Which form of paint storing do you personally prefer tho?
