This was second getaway post covid and it was a much needed one. After months of constantly sketching, painting and creating artworks I’d reach a point where my muscles were literally reluctant to make art. And somehow I could feel the mental exhaustion too. The good part was that I still had ideas to work on.
Me and my family decided to take a small vacation to Pushkar which is known for it’s Holi celebrations especially. But we chose to go in an off season month to avoid large crowds. The weather was quite pleasant and neutral. The drive was absolutely stunning as I’d seen hundreds and hundreds of butterflies on the way.
We’d reach our hotel by noon and the place was really beautiful. It offered pretty views of the green hills nearby. We quickly moved in to our rooms, checked out the place and left to do some sightseeing.
We were a but tired so decided to spend time by not involving any heavy activities and just taking a stroll in the local markets. It was a good end to the day with a purple sunset! The next day was filled with exploring the city which I will be sharing in the next post! :)
