I am in one of those phases of sketching and painting eyes, constantly. And even after finishing the biggest one that I have ever painted, another drawing is ready waiting to be painted lol. I enjoyed it thoroughly and for satisfaction level I would say it’s a 7/10 especially because of the eyelashes. I think I really need to practice just eyelash brush strokes in the coming time so I can do some justice to the eyes haha.
The softness achieved with gouache is always wonderful to me, almost like oils. And it’s funny to me how the smallest of detail, as small as a hair, impacts the final piece. What do you guys think? I would really appreciate some feedback on this :)
