**1. Baiturrahman Great Mosque**

The first legacy of the Kingdom of Aceh is the Baiturrahman Great Mosque. The mosque which was founded by Sultan Iskandar Muda in 1612 AD. During the Dutch military aggression II, this mosque was once burned. But, at the interval of 4 years later, the Dutch re-established with the aim to stop the anger of the people of Aceh who want to fight the Dutch.

When the tsunami occurred in 2004, this mosque had become a protector for some people of Aceh. The robustness of the building can not be destroyed by the sea waves that at that time devastated the city of Banda Aceh.



2. Benteng Indrapatra

The next legacy of the Kingdom of Aceh is Benteng Indrapatra. Indrapatra fortress is an actual fortress that has existed since the reign of Lamuri Kingdom. the oldest Hindu kingdom in Aceh that is, since the 7th century AD. This fort is located in Ladong Village, Kec. Masjid Raya, Kab. Aceh. This cistern also has an important role in protecting the people of Aceh from the attack of Portuguese cannon.

Currently you can only see 2 strongholds still standing. This fort has a size of 70 meters x 70 meters with a height of 4 meters and about 2 meters thick. Apart from being a historic relic, the fort is also in make as a leading tourist attraction Kab. Aceh Besar.



**3. Gunongan Gunongan**

is a park complete with the palace building. This park is historically a proof of love of the Sultan to the empress. The unknown consort is the daughter of the king of Pahang who was a prisoner for losing the war. The Emperor fell in love and finally married him, until the empress asked to be made a garden similar to his kingdom first in order to cure his longing.

Gunongan lies not so far from Baiturrahman Great Mosque that is, located in the Village Sukaramai, Kec. Baiturrahman, Banda Aceh City. If vacationing to Banda Aceh, do not forget to stop at the park this time.



**4. The tomb of Sultan Iskandar Muda**

The next legacy of the Kingdom of Aceh is the tomb of the King of Aceh's most famous king, Sultan Iskandar Muda. The tomb is located in Peuniti Village, Kec. Baiturrahman, Banda Aceh city is very dominant with the nuances of Islami. The carving and sculpture of calligraphy on his tombstone is very beautiful and is a historical evidence of the entry of Islam in Indonesia.



**5. The canon of the Kingdom of Aceh**

The Aceh Sultanate has been able to create its own armaments. As a proof of that is the existence of an old cannon now lined in fort Indraparta and Aceh museum. Originally this cannon in allegedly originated from a purchase to the Kingdom of Turkey, but after re-observation, it was not. It was the Acehnese royalists who created with their knowledge. The legacy of this one is very important to fight the invaders and enemy warships.



6. The Golden Money of the Kingdom of Aceh

Aceh is on a very strategic track. This makes the Aceh kingdom to be encouraged to make its own currency. Coins made of pure gold with the names of kings who ruled Aceh. This coin is still often encountered and also become a treasure that is in search by some people. This coin can also be suspected as one of the relics of the Kingdom of Aceh.
