Swallow live in groups and usually live in the waterfront and eat insects. From apparently swallow is different from what is known as "swallow bird house" or commonly known as sriti. The average length of the Walet's body is 9 cm or half the birds of the sriti. swallow has a shorter tail and compartment while Sriti has a longer tail and pointed. The average age of swallows is 15-18 yrs. Age affects the quality of the nest, generally the older the swallow the longer it takes cooking
