Indian Naga Dragon (Serpens facile)
.
This splendid beast was once thoroughly studied by dragonologists throughout its range in the Thar Desert.
Is now believed to be totally extinct due to human action.
The Naga’s disappearance is all the more poignant because, although the lower body is snake like, it’s face looks almost human.

Cheers.
