Finally I have made my second NFT! Hurray, it took much longer than planned. After all this is all manual and handdrawn, can't shoot them out like a robot even when working 24/7. The experience with NFT showroom in overall minting/tokenizing was very wholesome, compared to my contract work which I was used to do.

This is a picture of "Isao" a fictional character from my first manga shanghai passion, which was published in 2005. Yeah that is a decade ago, I was young, ambitious and naive. When I think back, that the publisher got 94% stake of all crossings from my manga and I got a one time print of 3000 editions, it's ridiculous. And I was lucky, that I even got the 6% you can read more about it in my blog post here

Well today things are different, I can mint my own art and I can do whatever I want with it! Hurray to web 3.0 and blockchain technology! Also I learned recently from a friend, that my work now is 10x more worth than it used to be in the past, where no one would appreciate the work of a self taught indie-mangaka. Now the old manga which only had 3000 editions to begin with is really valuable like 10x the original price. I guess most copies maybe got thown away for a dime, now its rare good because out of print forever. Irony 🤣

It's been a long time, but I remember this drawing was based on an old photo of my grandma. Sadly I can't find the granny picture anymore, otherwise i would attach it as unlockable content instead of the sketch. I have digitalized my handdrawn illustrations, so it would fit the new era of Web 3.0 and NFT showroom. Everything you see here is hand drawn, inked and layered with screen tone in the old school way. Cherry on top, its animated. God, ai love the eyes, cause they can move now! I am very happy to share my art on Hive, so I can share my Memories of Shanghai my birthtown with the world.

Endlich habe ich mein zweites NFT gemacht! Hurra, es hat viel länger gedauert als geplant. Schließlich ist das alles manuell und von Hand gezeichnet, ich kann sie nicht wie ein Roboter herausschießen, selbst wenn ich 24/7 arbeiten würde. Die Erfahrung mit dem NFT-Showroom in Bezug auf die Mint/Tokenisierung war sehr angenehm, verglichen mit meiner Auftragsarbeit, an die ich gewöhnt war.

Dies ist ein Bild von "Isao", einer fiktiven Figur aus meinem ersten Manga shanghai passion, der 2005 veröffentlicht wurde. Ja, das ist ein Jahrzehnt her, ich war jung, ehrgeizig und naiv. Wenn ich zurückdenke, dass der Verlag 94% der Einnahmen aus meinem Manga bekam und ich eine einmalige Auflage von 3000 Exemplaren, ist das lächerlich. Heute sind die Dinge anders, ich kann meine eigene Kunst prägen und ich kann damit machen, was ich will! Ein Hoch auf das Web 3.0 und die Blockchain-Technologie! Außerdem habe ich kürzlich von einem Freund erfahren, dass meine Arbeit jetzt 10x mehr wert ist als früher, wo niemand die Arbeit eines autodidaktischen Indie-Mangakas zu schätzen wusste. Jetzt ist der alte Manga, von dem es anfangs nur 3000 Ausgaben gab, wirklich das 10-fache des ursprünglichen Preises wert. Ich schätze, dass die meisten Exemplare vielleicht für einen Groschen weggeworfen wurden, jetzt ist es ein seltenes Gut, weil es für immer vergriffen ist. Ironie 🤣.

Es ist schon lange her, aber ich erinnere mich, dass diese Zeichnung auf einem alten Foto meiner Großmutter basierte. Leider kann ich das Bild meiner großmutter nicht mehr finden, sonst würde ich es als freischaltbaren Inhalt anstelle der Skizze anhängen. Ich habe meine handgezeichneten Illustrationen digitalisiert, damit sie in die neue Ära von Web 3.0 und NFT Showroom passen. Alles, was Sie hier sehen, ist handgezeichnet, getuscht und mit Rastertönen überlagert, ganz nach alter Schule. Das Tüpfelchen auf dem i sind die Animationen. Gott, ich liebe die Augen, denn sie können sich jetzt bewegen! Ich bin sehr glücklich, meine Kunst auf Hive zu teilen, so dass ich meine Erinnerungen an Shanghai, meine Geburtsstadt, mit der Welt teilen kann.
