Parallel realities once again invaded the screen to bring us a new product. Although this topic is overexploited nowadays, Stranger Things handles it in a more original way.
Parallel realities may or may not please you, in some you are happier than in others but.... What would you say if I told you that some of them are inhabited by completely creepy beings? While you take your cup of coffee quietly, somewhere else someone is suffering unspeakable things and I'm not talking about another country, city etc, but rather, something that happens in the place where you are sitting drinking, something that you can not see but that is happening. If you like horror mixed with science fiction, this Netflix series that has 4 seasons (5 to be released), is for you so let's start with today's review.
Las realidades paralelas de nuevo invadieron la pantalla para traernos un producto nuevo. Aunque este tรณpico hoy en dรญa esta sobreexplotado , Stranger things lo maneja de una forma un poco mas original .
Las realidades paralelas pueden gustarte o no, en algunas eres mas feliz que en otras pero... ยฟQuรฉ dirรญas si te digo que en algunas habitan seres completamente escalofriantes? , mientras tu tomas tu taza de cafรฉ tranquilamente , en otro lado alguien estรก sufriendo cosas inenarrables y no hablo precisamente de otro paรญs, ciudad, etc, sino mas bien, de algo que ocurre en el lugar donde estas sentado bebiendo, algo que no puedes ver pero que esta sucediendo. Si te gusta el horror mezclado con ciencia ficciรณn, esta serie de Netflix que cuenta con 4 temporadas (A estrenarse la 5) , es para vos asรญ que comencemos con la review del dรญa de hoy.
- Plot/Trama:
The story begins when in a seemingly quiet town called Hawkins in the United States, a boy mysteriously disappears. It doesn't end there, as strange events become commonplace in that town where "nothing was happening".
The crude reality is that behind him hides a terrible secret that will end up affecting in a horrible way the local population but especially our protagonists after, what a contradiction, the disappearance of his friend and the appearance of a somewhat peculiar girl.
La historia comienza cuando en un pueblo aparentemente tranquilo llamado Hawkins ubicado en Estados Unidos, un niรฑo desaparece misteriosamente. La cosa no termina allรญ ya que los eventos extraรฑos se vuelven moneda corriente en aquel pueblo donde "nada pasaba". La realidad cruda es que detrรกs de el, se esconde un terrible secreto que terminarรก afectando de manera horrible a la poblaciรณn local pero sobre todo a nuestros protagonistas despuรฉs de, vaya contradicciรณn, de la desapariciรณn de su amigo y de la apariciรณn de una niรฑa un tanto peculiar.
The series starts from the premise I mentioned and the plot is quite predictable, at least at the beginning. It's a bit obvious what was going on but then, you are surprised by some things. It keeps you in suspense as to what is really going on until the middle of season one but gradually you figure it all out and see what is behind each
disappearance. This is not a bad thing, at least for me who suffers from anxiety. That the plot is predictable relieves me a bit because I'm dying to know what happens haha.
At first I found it boring, slow and it didn't feel like horror to me. Until the end of the season one was still holding it up but, I decided to keep watching and believe me it gets worse and worse. It starts off soft, yes, but as the seasons go on not only do our protagonists grow but so does the tension and the horror.
La serie parte de la premisa que mencionรฉ y la trama es bastante predecible, al menos al principio. Es un poco obvio lo que estaba pasando pero luego, te sorprenden algunas cosas. Te mantiene al suspenso de que es lo que realmente esta pasando hasta la mitad de la temporada uno pero de a poco te das cuenta de todo y ves que hay detrรกs de cada desapariciรณn. Esto no es algo malo, al menos para mi que sufro de ansiedad. Que la trama sea predecible me alivia un poco porque muero por saber que pasa jaja.
Al principio se me hizo aburrida, lenta y no me pareciรณ que sea de horror. Hasta el final de la temporada uno lo seguรญa sosteniendo pero, decidรญ seguir viendo y crรฉanme que cada vez esto se pone peor. Empieza suave, si, pero cuando corren las temporadas no solo nuestros protagonistas crecen sino tambien, la tensiรณn y el horror.
The fact that the main characters grow up on screen makes me have a special affection for them. That's what I liked about the series, that they keep the actors from the beginning and now as adults. You know, the older you get, the bigger the problems and this is perfect. I really like that the plot has a little bit of everything. Romances, iron friendship, strong family ties,
horror and Scifi, among others. This makes the series not stagnant in one genre and not boring. Yes, I know I said it was, but at the beginning it picks up where it left off and we can even see stories of teenage romance.
The designs of "the enemies" are incredible. They scare the piss out of me. I wouldn't want to come across one but, the one that scares me the most is the human looking monster because without it, it wouldn't have started. As always, is it surprising? Of course not. human beings are like that, they tend to destroy everything they touch.I don't say this with the intention of giving spoilers since it's something that you can see from the first chapter.
Esto de que los protagonistas crezcan en pantalla me hace tenerles un cariรฑo especial. Eso me gusto de la serie, que se mantengan los actores del inicio y ya de adultos. Ya saben, entre mas grande uno es mas grande son los problemas y esto queda a la perfecciรณn. Me gusta mucho que la trama tiene un poco de todo. Romances, amistad de hierro, lazos familiares fuertes, horror y Scifi , entre otros. Esto hace que la serie no se estanque en un solo genero y que no sea aburrida. Si, se que dije que lo era pero al principio ya luego retoma camino y podemos ver historias incluso de romance adolescente.
Los diseรฑos de "los enemigos" son increรญble. Me hacen orinarme del miedo. No me gustarรญa cruzarme con uno pero, el que mas miedo me da es el monstruo de apariencia humana ya que sin este, no hubiera comenzado todo. Como siempre ยฟSorprende? , claro que no, el ser humano es asรญ, suele destruir todo lo que toca. Esto no lo digo con el afรกn de dar spoilers ya que es algo que desde el primer capitulo uno puede ver.
Not only does it scale in horror but also in emotions. Season after season we can feel a roller coaster of emotions. New characters appear that you wish nothing would happen to them but, you never know what could happen in a world almost plunged in darkness where one terrifying event happens after another. It hooks you episode after episode, you just want to see more and I think what I liked most about this one was that it was set in the beautiful '80s.
As for this, the music is spectacular, needless to say, some of the best ever, although some people demanded contemporary music but, again, it's set in the '80s and it wasn't possible.
Entertaining, gloomy but at the same time touching, it teaches you values,with an explosive combination of supernatural things and technology made for evil, carzy experiments, the truth, I totally recommend it. The only thing I could say against it is that if it had been shorter, it would have more impact as I feel that some things were unnecessarily lengthened and I hope that in season 5 they do not ruin what was built although for me, the denouement should have been closed in 3 seasons, remove extra things that did not contribute to the plot. I don't know what will come in the fifth but well, let's wait he,he,he,he.
I hope you can watch the series,offers nothing completely new that hasn't been seen before but it is very good, I recommend it and you will be entertained. Greetings and see you next time.
No solo se escala en horror sino tambien, en emociones. Temporada a temporada podemos sentir una montaรฑa rusa de emociones. Aparecen personajes nuevos que deseas no les pase nada pero, nuca sabes que puede pasar en un mundo casi sumido en la oscuridad donde un evento aterrador ocurre tras otro. Te engancha episodio tras episodio, solo quieres ver mas y creo que lo que mas gusto de esta fue que estaba ambientada en los bellos aรฑos ยด80. En cuanto a esto, la mรบsica es espectacular, no hace falta decirlo, de la mejor que existiรณ aunque algunas personas exigรญan se pase mรบsica contemporรกnea pero, vuelvo a decirlo, esta ambientada en los ยด80 y no era posible.
Entretenida, lรบgubre pero a la vez conmovedora, te enseรฑa valores, con una combinaciรณn explosiva de cosas sobrenaturales , tecnologรญa hecha para el mal, experimentos locos, la verdad, la recomiendo totalmente. Lo รบnico que podrรญa decir en su contra es que si hubiera sido mas corta, tendrรญa mas impacto ya que siento que algunas cosas se alargaron innecesariamente y espero que en la 5 temporada no arruinen lo que se construyรณ aunque para mi, el desenlace debiรณ ser cerrado en 3 temporadas, quitar cosas extras que no aportaron a la trama. Nose que venga en la quinta pero bueno, a esperar je,je,je.
Espero puedan ver la serie, no ofrece nada completamente nuevo que no se haya visto pero esta muy buena, la recomiendo y te vas a entretener bastante. Saludos y hasta la prรณxima.
