This week's ZAPFIC Monday challenge presented an interesting topic to consider. When I think of the prompt "frog", I"m reminded of amphibians with large eyes. In the case of the frog, the eyes bulge and are often the butt of jokes. A trend began utilizing the concept of frog eyes in the skin piercing industry. Bulging eyes were represented by the piercing on the tongue. However, this practice invites health complications as any operation where muscles are involved may damage nerves. Personally, I don't like piercings anywhere on the body. It's a personal choice for me. However, what individuals desire to apply to their bodies is their concern. El desafío del lunes de ZAPFIC de esta semana presentó un tema interesante para considerar. Cuando pienso en la palabra «rana», me vienen a la mente los anfibios con ojos grandes. En el caso de las ranas, los ojos son saltones y a menudo son objeto de bromas. En la industria del piercing se puso de moda utilizar el concepto de los ojos de rana. Los ojos saltones se representaban con un piercing en la lengua. Sin embargo, esta práctica conlleva complicaciones para la salud, ya que cualquier operación en la que intervengan músculos puede dañar los nervios. Personalmente, no me gustan los piercings en ninguna parte del cuerpo. Es una elección personal. Sin embargo, lo que cada uno desee hacer con su cuerpo es asunto suyo.
