What is Donné?
Donné is the social network of blood donors, instead of sharing photos and posts we share our blood to the ones who need it, allowing blood donation to happen without the need of searching the internet for donors, also an app which test your eligibility to donate blood, make a blood donation schedule and a wiki section to raise blood donation awareness.
Donné was built by users, for users, it's user friendly and gets the job done with the least number of steps/clicks possible.

Time is very important for a person who needs blood. The hourglass represents time flowing.
But our point of view of this "flowing action" like that; i placed blood on both sides of the hourglass as if the top serum, the bottom is the needy.
So i tried to represent that the blood donation of each made it save the life of the person who needs it.

The old logo is not understandable and insufficient for implementation. Donné is an application that provides service on a very important topic needs a more meaningful and memorable logo. it should be a unique design that represents blood donation.
Firstly i want to explain what does the hourglass mean; "time - two bottles in need of each other"
The hourglass is made up of two glass containers connected together by a strait. so that a small amount of sand flows from the upper bulb to the lower bottle. as like the rate of blood donation is very low around the world that it barely over 3% ..
(hope one day this amount increases too much)
as well as the sand flowing down the hourglass, looks like the blood given to what one needs from a serum.

Blood donation is primarily a matter of sacrifice. if the upper bottle does not make sacrifice the lower bottle can never get what it needs and this is a cycle; these two bottles are always in need of each other.
Blood donated in the same way; today you can be in need of blood for the day you donated before.
also Donné application aims to create sensitivity in this issue.
Also i search logo which was designed before about "blood donate" because my logo must be not"GENERIC" :)) so it comes up like that..
