Let me help you to understand:
+ Chanay means Chickpeas or Garbanzo beans. In my country, we don't regularly eat canned foods due to our culture/tradition so we make everything fresh from scratch.
+ Chawal means Rice.
+ Mutanjan means Sweet Rice.
So the weird dish of mine is Sweet rice with spicy chickpeas. Thanks for the supporting words. I appreciate this act of kindness.
