Ola #hive @onchainart , Sharing some personal work based on the mood I feel, Its been a year and half now and we go back to square one here with another lockdown, Being stuck at home all this time just feels like I'm wasting my years while everyone else just living their lives.

Abandoned is the right feels to describe when your half way across the planet from everyone you know and you just left to age and get older by your self.

From that I got inspired to create this artwork, A lonely lighthouse left to crash but mother nature is always there for love and hugs and hold hands.

I kept simple modeling as my skills in modeling not that great, And for the vines I uses ( Ivy Generator ) and for the grass I used Maya PaintFX tool, And the rest was done using photoshop .

I have created a spooky night version mixed in Halloween style, Cause even if the place is empty it don't mean they cannot celebrate 🎃

• Render passes

I used the usual render passes for this artwork, Started with the Maya raw render and compiled the rest in Photoshop, A few color correct nodes for the final look

ID pass is used to mask and select any object in the scene, In can any adjustments such as ( color correction , levels , exposer ) can be controlled through this pass.

Ambient occlusion or ( AO ) is a common pass used in the CGI world to create deep shadows between the elements and objects in the scene, It will help create a contrast in the shadows for a strong base.

ZDepth pass is one of the main render layers needed for any CGI work, With the ZDepth pass you can control the focus in your scene, It helps you control the blur values and where to focus, Also can be used as fog pass if set to screen with some color correction.
