Most of people where I live just use the Islamic greeting "السلام عليكم" (Peace upon you) people pronounce it differently sometimes. It's also used as Goodbye alternative too.
Another local greeting is "كيف الحال؟" & "شن أخبارك؟" both could mean "How are you?"
