I think they're making these using local methods or buying them from under the table, and I imagine weapon sellers care more about the highest bidder than human lives/political outcome?

I know for sure that the armed groups of Gaza are able to create and acquire weapons despite being surrounded by Israeli surveillance from all directions... Iran would have even less trouble.
