Well, companies who get rid of their senior developers are going to get a reality check 2-5 years from now. Unless AI came up with a new architecture for self-learning, it'll keep making mistakes that won't be noticable in months.
Those mistakes won't be problems for small projects, but for big ones, it could cost billions, and AI can't fix them by itself.
Well, if we came up with a new architecture this may not be a problem and I think AI companies are banking on that, but if your company's goal is the stability of the project, you SOULDN'T bet on things that haven't happened yet.
