This is VS Codium, and the git client is just "Git" not Github or anything online, plain old offline Git installation.

That's actually the part I'm amazed about, in my mind, git is for collabrative work or storing things on github but just using git on a normal throwaway project made it all easier for me as solo dev vibe coder!
