I am going to describe the topic physical quantities and their types.
PHYSICAL QUANTITIES:
All measurable quantities that have some numerical values and units are called physical quantities.
e.g
The height of student 104 cm.Here 104 is numerical value while cm is unit.
physical quantities are divided in to two types
1) Base quantities
2)Derived quantities
1) Base quantities
Seven quantities are known as base quantities on the bases of these quantities other quantities are expressed.
e.g
Length,Mass,Time,etc
2)Derived quantities:
The quantities which are expressed in terms of base quantities are called derived quantities.
e.g
Area,Volume,Speed,Force ,Work etc.
