The distinction between taking action—like Smallsteps standing guard over the dragonfly—and simply adopting a passive "if you can't beat them, join them" attitude is so spot on. The Sam Altman example highlights how easily convenience can erode real human connection. Using tools to organize life is one thing, but outsourcing the emotional involvement of parenting takes away what actually matters. Just because a technology or justification is convenient doesn't automatically make it right. Great post as always!
