When users perform a search on Google, it is done by using a specific keyword. A keyword is an identifier for a given product or service.

The search results are displayed based on what Google determined to be an exact or very close match with the term that was searched. Only relevant web pages with the given keyword are retrieved and displayed in search results.

HOW GOOGLE DETERMINES THIS KEYWORD RELEVANCY?

The search results are not only based on the exact match, but also on the density of that keyword on the specific web-page.  Recently, Google guidelines have been updated which specifies that keywords are no longer a factor to the relevancy of the page and has no effect on such inclusion. This is false!

Perhaps the keywords meta tags are no longer handled the way it used to be; that might be true, but the fact is that the keywords are the primary factor which determines the quality of a given webpage. The density of the keywords is a major factor and is supported greatly by the public relations article across the web, ( Let me know who knows you not who you know).
