PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PT PIM) is negotiating with PT Pupuk Indonesia as the liquidator of PT Aceh Asean Fertilizer (PT AAF) sales. The company has a White Elephant logo that has expressed a desire to buy the former fertilizer factory located in the district of North Aceh.
"Now we are negotiating with the liquidator. Hopefully the price can be suitable and suitable for the development of PT PIM, "said President Director, PT PIM, Achmad Fadiel, in Lhokseumawe, Tuesday (27/2/2018).
He said the purchase of the fertilizer plant is part of the company's development action this year. However, when asked the value of the offer submitted PIM to the liquidator, Fadiel reluctant to mention it.
"Hopefully this year the agreement is reached and we can immediately fix the AAF factory to become part of PT PIM," he concluded.
Just to note, PT AAF began to stop its activities a dozen years ago. The company whose shares are owned by Asean countries was later declared bankrupt and until now not yet in operation.

“Sekarang kita sedang negosiasi dengan likuidator. Mudah-mudahan dapat harga yang pas dan cocok buat pengembangan PT PIM,” sebut Direktur Utama, PT PIM, Achmad Fadiel, di Lhokseumawe, Selasa (27/2/2018).
Dia menyebutkan, pembelian pabrik pupuk tersebut bagian dari aksi pengembangan perusahaan tahun ini. Namun, saat ditanya nilai penawaran yang disampaikan PIM ke likuidator, Fadiel enggan menyebutkannya.
“Semoga tahun ini tercapai kesepakatan dan kita bisa segera membenahi pabrik AAF untuk menjadi bagian dari PT PIM,” pungkasnya.
Sekadar diketahui, PT AAF mulai terhenti aktivitasnya belasan tahun lalu. Perusahan yang sahamnya dimiliki oleh negara-negara Asean itu kemudian dinyatakan bangkrut dan hingga kini belum beroperasi.
