The excessive use of synthetic products has been causing damage to agroecosystems, bringing as a consequence the deterioration of soils, increasing their salinity which affects the fauna of the soil ecosystem, causing the loss of the main microorganisms that participate in the decomposition of organic matter.

▶ Likewise, they cause different allergic effects on the skin, respiratory tract problems, liver problems, sterility and mutagenic action in the offspring of those who apply them, which is why the effective use and management of the internal resources of the agro-ecosystem should be promoted.

In this sense, organic fertilizers are a vital component of productive systems, since they constitute an economically attractive and ecologically acceptable means to reduce external inputs by endogenous materials and to improve the quantity and quality of internal resources.
The producer in search of these improvements, and to satisfy the nutritional needs of the crops, faces an inadequate use of chemical fertilizers, all of them incorporated to the edaphic factor and their excessive and irrational application has brought serious problems to our environment.
In recent years, new methods have been proposed, incorporating organic matter to strengthen soils exposed to chemical excesses and achieve their recovery.

For this reason, it is essential that agriculture be an activity that can be carried out in the long term, in a sustainable manner, that is, one that does not deplete the natural resources on which it depends, that generates good yields and income for producers and thus obtain social and economic benefits, that produces quality food and that does not have negative effects on the environment.
