Quite a scary and thought provoking interview!

Paul Craig Roberts says forget about the Left/Right Democrat and Republican paradigm. Dr. Roberts explains, “This isn’t a Democrat vs. Republican thing. This is the elite, the establishment, the oligarchs and the people who rule the country. Probable so. President Trump is a threat to their power.

I think it is very much the same here in the UK with Brexit. The elite has too much to lose by leaving. With the EU, they will lose financial funding as the UK is the second or third largest contributor. If the UK leaves, Italy will quickly follow as they are very discontented with EU - and even France . That is why the EU is making extremely difficult and obstructing things.

He says that the FED, ECB, JCB etc can just keep printing money to buy stocks and other assets, have negative interest rates, keep devaluing their currencies against each other and to keep it going indefinitely.

SOUNDS PLAUSIBLE BUT I CANNOT QUITE GET MY HEAD AROUND THIS. SURELY THIS TYPE OF SYSTEM WILL FAIL, BUT I CANNOT WORK OUT HOW. NOW I AM CONFUSED.

Having served as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy under President Ronald Reagan, he must know something.
