My understanding came about from trying to understand as to what really happened in the 2007/2008 financial crisis. I could not understand what had exactly happened and the solution to it.
It was watching a You Tube video of Mike Maloney's 'History of Money'. I was shocked and had to replay it many times as I was in disbelief of what our FIAT money system was.
