Honestly I think any decent F2P player should be able to comfortably stay above rank 7, provided they stop fooling around and understand they are playing in a competitive ranked ladder. That means they need to optimize their deck to be competitive against what other people are playing. There is no place for memeing around if your goal is to maximize your earnings, again on a competitive setting.
