In the case of Dolvaz, it lost Afterlife. I'm not sure if "If this creature dies" means it is now resistant to obliteration or transformation?

Regarding Salvaging Archive, it is a Death card, so a no-go for Magic decks. I don't see how to use this card in an Atlantean-themed deck. I often wonder why they sprinkle tribe cards to Gods that have no way of getting synergies from them.
