Yesterday was my most successful trading day to date. So what was I trading?
The trend is certainly your friend and when things are bullish across the board it's easier to pull profit from my trades.
Thank You Elon
This buds for you sir! Needed to take a sec to acknowledge that I'm ridding the tail of another Elon pump.
My Trading Journal - Feb 9, 2021
Three trades on the day with three different coins; BNB, XVS, and RUNE.
BNB and RUNE are companies that I'm bullish on and besides trading their tokens, I genuinely want to hold long term.
XVS on the other hand has incredible volatility which means there's opportunity for profits.
Sure there's probably a few coins that made gains that would trump this but I don't have a crystal ball and need to work towards being methodical.
All three trades were trending up on 4hr and 1 hr charts.
I looked for dips to the bottom of the Bollinger band, and a signal from MACD then price to break above the 20 EMA.
Like an assassin I'm in and out, profits secured. All three trades were completed within an hour I believe, with the XVS trade complete within about 25 minutes.
Something that I'm coming to understand is the different times of day when markets tend to get hot and cold, or rather surges in volume.
I need to get the hang of when these surges in volume occur from different parts of the world and how to incorporate them into my trading strats.
If anyone knows off the top of you head for example when Europe and Asia tend to get busy do let me know.
Ciao for now,
