We are waiting for the cool nights to kill the wasps we've trapped in the backyard. They built a nest in a bag of soil. We covered that with a garbage pail, and then surrounded the bottom of the pail with diatomaceous earth. Wasps still come and go, although in smaller numbers. My kids wouldn't let me 'poison the earth' with wasp spray so we are waiting for winter :))) Meanwhile we co-exist. Wasps in the corner and we get the rest of the yard.
