It's good, tells people why they should listen to you. I think that less words sometimes say more, so I would just chop a few off here that don't seem to add to the meaning. I put them in parentheses.
I've had a life time interest in health and well-being.( For several years,) I co-ordinated NHS funded projects based in communities where people learned from each other. Just recently, I completed a qualification in Lifestyle Medicine at the University of Leicester, England.
For the past five years, I ran the Saturday Savers Club, an online (community based) club where people set their savings goals and (fed back--maybe 'reported'?) their progress each week. One of the most popular Club activities was no-buy weeks and months - these transformed people's wallets and their cooking!
This blog is about my own experiences getting to better health and investing for the next twenty years. I'd be delighted if you'd join me and share your hints and tips for staying strong, happy secure and independent.
I like the last paragraph especially. You're not just telling people, you are sharing and making it a community effort--they are telling you and each other. Older people are often lonely and nobody cares what they have to say. This would be a place for them to feel they have something to say and people are listening. Strong, happy, secure and independent reads well here.
All in all a good job!!!
