I didn't know she did the Piano. I guess she likes her naked men shots. I remember Harvey Keitel in the altogether. Interesting that she turns the tables on nudity in film. Usually it's the women who have to take it off while the men get to demurely hide behind a towel or some such thing. I guess if a man wants to star in a Jane Campion film he has to be ready to take it off :)))
Seriously, though. I just loved this movie. For me, it's always the script and the acting--but first the script. I'm less visual than most people--I guess because I like writing. This script left a lot of 'quiet' places, places where actors could fill in the intention merely by changing the expressions on their faces.
