As @deirdyweirdy can attest, I am an ornery old woman, so take my response with that in mind :)
I would never chat with AI about me. About my life. About my likes. About my experience. I bristle at the thought. I have advanced to asking questions about complex medical procedures and terminology. These responses do not require insight. Facts--absolute, raw facts about anything--I will query (which I double check). Also I may question a bot about trivia, historical data. I will never ask a bot to describe or interpret an event in history. I've read enough history books to know that history is interpreted and offered up through the perspective of the narrator.
So, I skipped over the information your AI 'friend' offered about your literary tastes. What I did respond to, what I loved about this post, was there are apparently no boundaries for you between the arts. You have the soul of a camparatist. Art is art, whether it is music, literature, film or visual. It is all related and touches us in the same place. I enjoy your sensitivity. I agree with your appreciation of economy. If a word, or a scene does not do heavy lifting in a piece, then it doesn't belong.
That's one good thing about trying to write poetry (I'm a terrible poet)--it helps to foster the habit of economy (good poetry, anyway).
This is a long response--so much for economy :)))
Great, thought-provoking post.
