Respect for publishing something you expect no one to read. I can't weigh in on the politics in Britain, because I'm not well enough informed. But, count yourself lucky. In my country they are grabbing people off the streets and putting them in detention. Maybe the people are citizens. Maybe not. If they can prove their citizenship, they are released eventually. Means many in my country actually have to walk around with 'papers', proof that they belong in the country. Age is not a barrier. The very old and very young subject to the same actions.

I think I'm safe. Black hair, black eyes but really anemic skin tone. Also, a very native accent. So I will probably never be grabbed up in one of their 'sweeps'.
